Edinburgh International Festival 2010

Edinburgh International Festival is a festival of classical music, theatre, opera and dance lasting three weeks in August and September across six theatres, and a number of smaller venues in Edinburgh. All acts are by invitation by the International Festival's General Director, and acts from all over the world are chosen. Experience the rich festival of colour that is the Edinburgh International Festival in the Beautiful city of Edinburgh, and take away memories that will last a lifetime.

The centre for the whole festival is The Hub, only a few minutes away on foot from Edinburgh Castle, and easily found as its gothic spire is the highest point in Edinburgh city centre. The Hub is also the central point for all things related to Edinburgh Festivals.

Edinburgh Fringe Festival

The Edinburgh Fringe Festival runs at the same time as the International Festival, and is the largest arts festival in the world. The difference between the two festivals is the fact that the International Festival is invited acts only, and The Fringe is for all performers, so you could even put your own show on!
