The Edinburgh Military Tattoo takes place in August/September on the esplanade of Edinburgh Castle as part of the Edinburgh Festival. The Tattoo has become so synonymous with the Festival that many people call the Edinburgh Festival the Edinburgh Tattoo, and it could be said that the Tattoo is the jewel in the Festival's crown.

Over 200,000 people travel from far and wide to see the Tattoo in Edinburgh, and we expect just as many for 2010, so is advised to book your tickets in advance as it is always a sell out.

With Military Regiments both from Scotland and all over the world the Tattoo is certainly a multicultural event.
